Nostalgic Blooms: A Love Letter to Vintage Floral Prints
There’s something about vintage florals that feels like coming home.
The quiet charm of a soft, aged petal. The romance of delicate vines trailing across old wallpaper. The way a pattern can feel like a memory, even if it’s one you’ve never lived. That was the feeling I wanted to bottle up and share when I created Nostalgic Blooms—a pattern collection rooted in beauty, history, and the timeless language of flowers.
The Inspiration: A Vintage Heart
I’ve always been drawn to vintage floral art—the kind found in antique textiles, heirloom wallpapers, or the pages of old botanical books. There’s a gentleness and a lost beauty to them. When I began designing this collection, I wasn’t just making patterns—I was creating a garden of sorts. One that celebrates both the elegance of vintage florals and the beauty of the nature blooming all around us.
At the heart of the collection is a pattern called Dipladenia Dreams, which features rocktrumpet flowers. It’s especially close to my heart because it was the first pattern I ever designed that I felt proud to share—the one that quietly marked the beginning of my creative journey and, in many ways, started my business
A Collection in Full Bloom
Nostalgic Blooms is made up of floral-focused prints—each one centered around a different flower, giving each a space to shine. And while most pattern collections follow a strict “hero–coordinate–blender” structure, this one breaks that mold. Each design feels like a star in its own right—each bloom telling its own story.
The collection currently comes in four colorways, each offering a different mood and home:
Muted Pink & Green on Cream and Red & Brown on Cream:
These two palettes have a soft, elevated feel—perfect for vintage-inspired interiors, elegant bedrooms, or cozy reading corners. They’re the quiet, romantic heart of the collection.Pastel Pink & Purple on Cream:
Sweet and whimsical, this version feels tailor-made for nurseries, children’s rooms, or anyone who adores the gentle world of pastels.Bright Pink & Yellow on Deep Navy:
Bold, playful, and full of contrast. I created this colorway for those who want to make a statement—perfect for accent walls, statement pillows, or even fashion pieces like vintage-inspired dresses.
There’s also one subtle standout: a multidirectional leafy print, designed as the perfect blender. It balances the florals beautifully, and works well in projects where you need a quiet pause between all that blooming color.
Where I Imagine These Designs Living
I picture these florals in soft, sunlit bedrooms, in living rooms layered with pillows and cozy textures, and in nurseries full of love and little daydreams.
They’re perfect for:
Wallpaper that feels like art
Fabric for sheet sets or duvet covers
Cushions that add story to your space
Handmade stationery or gift wrap
Vintage-style clothing that feels both romantic and grounded
Each design was created with intention and heart—meant to bring not just beauty, but feeling, into your space.
